visits, clients must have the original Operating System
disk(s) supplied with the machine available. This is also
applicable for the reinstallation of any software to run
printers etc. Please be aware that Microsoft no longer supports
and has resources for Windows 95, 98, 98SE and Millennium
Edition (Me). Regrettably, therefore reinstallation will not be
possible without the original disks as the necessary drivers for
these particular operating systems are no longer officially
available. In the event reinstallation of these particular
versions is made using your disk(s), please note that your
internet security will be at risk as security patches etc are no
longer available.
Please note that should there be need to
purchase new disks to proceed with the necessary work,
where they are obtainable, these
will be charged to the customer.
